What we make

The workstation is the unit of measurement for an office. Everything else — the meeting rooms, the pantry, the circulation — is planned around how many desks the floor has to hold and how much room each one needs.

We manufacture office workstations at our own Bommanahalli workshop: open desk layouts, screened cubicles, corner and L-shaped desks, manager and cabin desks, and the storage that goes with them. Being a direct manufacturer means the desk you get is the size your floor needs, not the nearest size a distributor happens to stock.

Configurations

Open desk workstations

Low or no screening, desks arranged in rows or benches. Maximises seats per square metre and keeps sightlines open across a floor. Best suited to teams that talk to each other constantly.

Screened cubicles

Desks with panel screens at seated or standing height. Buys visual privacy and cuts noise carry. Screen height is the main lever: seated-height screens keep the room feeling open, standing-height screens make it feel like a room of rooms.

Corner and L-shaped desks

More usable surface per person, for roles that run multiple monitors or handle physical paperwork.

Manager and cabin desks

Larger desks, usually with a side return and integrated pedestal storage. Built in the same finish family as the open floor so the office reads as one scheme rather than two purchases.

Conference and meeting tables

Rectangular, oval and boat-shaped tables with power and cable cut-outs where AV is involved.

Storage

Mobile pedestals, side units, overhead storage and filing cabinets, matched to the desks.

Specifying workstations

  • Seat count against floor plate. Start from how many people the floor must hold, then decide desk size. Doing it the other way round usually produces a plan that does not fit.
  • Desk depth. Depth is dictated by monitors. A single monitor needs less depth than a dual-monitor setup; get this wrong and people sit too close to their screens for the next five years.
  • Screen height. Decide it deliberately. It is the single biggest influence on how a floor feels to work in.
  • Cable management. Power and data routing has to be planned before manufacture — through the spine, down the leg, into a floor box. Retrofitted cabling is visible cabling.
  • Storage per person. Most offices over-order filing storage and under-order personal storage. Ask people what they actually keep at their desk.
  • Circulation. Aisle width between rows, and clear routes to exits, confirmed against the real floor plan.
  • Future changes. If the team is going to grow or restructure, specify a system that can be added to and reconfigured rather than one that must be replaced.

Materials and finishes

Understructures are fabricated in mild steel section, welded and powder coated in a finish of your choosing. Work surfaces are laminate over an engineered core, edge-banded on all exposed edges — edge banding is what keeps a desk looking new after a few years of chairs knocking into it.

Screens are available as fabric-covered, laminate or glazed panels. Fabric screens absorb some noise; glazed upper panels let light through a deep floor plate. Storage units are built in matching finishes.

If you have an architect’s or brand palette, send it and we will match to it in manufacture.

Who this suits

Corporate offices, IT and services floors, industrial and factory office areas, government offices, coworking spaces and startups fitting out a first proper floor. We have supplied office workstations and office furniture for clients including Bavani Industries, Zealworks, FFAF Cargo and the Income Tax Office, Bangalore.

Customisation

Desk sizes, screen heights, storage configuration, finishes and cable routing are all set per project. We measure on site before manufacture — floor plans and buildings disagree more often than anyone expects, and a workstation run that is 40 mm too long for the bay is a problem best discovered in the workshop rather than on installation day.

For larger orders we build a sample bay for approval. It takes a few days and it prevents the expensive kind of surprise.
