Bavani Industries, an industrial operation in Bengaluru.

What they needed

Office tables to begin with, which grew into the wider administrative fit-out. Industrial offices have a different set of priorities from corporate floors: the furniture sits closer to the working end of the business, it takes more physical wear, and the people using it move between the desk and the shop floor all day.

The requirement was for custom office furniture, storage, executive cabins and meeting spaces, planned around how the site actually operates rather than around an open-plan office template.

The scheme leaned toward durability and space efficiency: a clean industrial aesthetic, hard-wearing surfaces, and a layout that keeps circulation clear in rooms that get used at pace.

The constraint

Fitting an office scheme to an industrial building. Column positions, service runs and existing room proportions are fixed, and the furniture has to work around them. We measured on site before manufacturing so the runs landed correctly against the walls rather than needing adjustment on installation day.

The office work tables and workstations were delivered as specified, and the project closed with the client satisfied with the completed work.
