What we make

A modular kitchen is a set of standard-width boxes arranged to fit a room that is never standard. The skill is not in the boxes — it is in the planning, the hardware and the millimetre-accurate fit at the ends of a run where the box meets the wall.

We design and manufacture modular kitchens at our Bommanahalli workshop: base units, wall units, tall units, drawer systems, shutters and countertop-ready runs, in every standard layout. Everything is measured on site before cutting, because Bengaluru apartment kitchens are rarely square and rarely the dimension the builder’s drawing says.

Layouts

Straight kitchen

A single run along one wall. The right answer for narrow kitchens and compact apartments. Everything is within reach; the trade-off is limited counter length, so plan the sink-hob-fridge sequence carefully.

L-shaped kitchen

Two adjoining walls. The most common layout in Indian apartments and generally the most usable — it gives a proper working triangle and leaves the rest of the room free.

Parallel kitchen

Two facing runs. Excellent for storage and for two people working at once, provided the gap between runs is wide enough to open drawers on both sides without collision. That clearance is the whole design question in a parallel kitchen.

U-shaped kitchen

Three walls. Maximum storage and counter space in a self-contained footprint. Corners need proper corner-unit hardware or you lose the very space you built.

G-shaped kitchen

A U with a partial fourth run, often used as a breakfast counter or a service divide between kitchen and dining.

Island kitchen

A free-standing central unit. Needs genuine floor area — a cramped island is worse than no island. Works well in open-plan homes where the kitchen faces the living space.

Specifying a kitchen

Plan the working triangle. Sink, hob and refrigerator should form a comfortable triangle without crossing traffic through it.
Drawers over shutters at low level. Base units with deep drawers are far more usable than cupboards you have to kneel in front of. This is the single upgrade homeowners most often say they wish they had made.
Corners need hardware. Blind corners swallow storage unless fitted with a corner solution. Decide this at design stage.
Plan the services early. Plumbing, electrical points, chimney duct routing and gas line positions must be fixed before manufacture. Moving a socket after installation means cutting a finished unit.
Chimney and hob clearances. These are set by the appliances you have chosen, so choose appliances before finalising the layout.
Tall units and loft storage. Bengaluru kitchens often have generous ceiling height. Loft-level storage is worth taking if you have it, for the things used twice a year.
Clearance around the fridge. Leave room for the door to swing fully. A fridge that cannot open properly next to a finished run is an expensive lesson.

Materials and finishes

Carcasses are built in engineered board selected for the moisture conditions of a kitchen, with edge banding on all exposed edges. Shutters are available in a range of finishes — laminate, acrylic and membrane among them — across matte and gloss options.

Hardware carries the kitchen. Hinges, drawer channels and lift-up mechanisms are what you touch a hundred times a day and what fails first if under-specified. We will walk you through the hardware options and what the difference actually buys you, rather than quietly fitting the cheapest option and letting you discover it in year two.

Countertops, chimneys, hobs and sinks are coordinated with the cabinetry so cut-outs and clearances are correct at manufacture.

Every kitchen is made to the measured room. Unit widths, shutter finishes, handle style, internal accessories and appliance provisions are chosen per project. Because we manufacture directly, there is no reseller layer between your decision and the machine that cuts the panel — which keeps both the cost and the response time down when something needs to change mid-project.

We measure on site, produce a layout for approval, manufacture in our workshop, and install. Same team throughout.
