What we make

School furniture gets tested harder than almost anything else we build. It is climbed on, leaned back on, dragged across floors and used by children who grow several inches between one academic year and the next. Anything that is going to fail will fail inside two terms.

We manufacture the complete school range in our own Bommanahalli workshop: classroom desks and benches, teacher tables, staff and administrative workstations, boardroom and conference furniture, computer lab tables and chairs, cafeteria seating, classroom lockers, and office file storage. One supplier, one workshop, one finish standard across the campus.

Ranges

Classroom desks and benches

Two-seater and three-seater desk-bench units, plus individual desks where the teaching style calls for regrouping. Sized by age band — a Class 2 desk and a Class 9 desk are different pieces of furniture, and using one height throughout the school is the most common and most costly specification mistake we see.

Teacher tables

A working desk with a lockable drawer, sized to sit comfortably at the front of a room without blocking sightlines to the board.

Computer lab tables and chairs

Rows built for monitors, CPUs and cabling, with cable routing kept off the floor where children walk. Seating at a height matched to the table, not borrowed from the classroom.

School office workstations

Front-office, admissions and accounts desks, built as modular runs with proper file storage. These rooms handle parents and paperwork all day and benefit from looking organised.

Boardroom and conference furniture

Meeting tables for management rooms and parent-teacher meeting spaces, in rectangular or oval configurations.

Cafeteria furniture

Bench-seating tables and free-standing round or rectangular tables in wipe-clean surfaces. Bench units seat more children per square metre and clear faster at the end of a lunch break.

Lockers and file storage

Classroom lockers for bags and books, and steel or laminate file storage for the school office.

Specifying for a school

  • Match heights to age groups. Order by year group, not by total headcount. Getting this right does more for posture and concentration than any other single decision.
  • Round every edge. All exposed edges should be radiused and edge-banded. This is a safety requirement in a room full of running children, not a finish preference.
  • No exposed fasteners. Anything a child can loosen, a child will loosen. Fixings should be concealed or captive.
  • Design for cleaning. Surfaces need to survive daily wiping and the occasional marker pen. Open frames clean far more easily than closed boxes with dust traps.
  • Plan a spare. Order a small percentage over requirement. Replacing three broken desks in year two from your own stock is far easier than matching a discontinued batch.
  • Weight matters. Furniture that support staff need to move for exams or assemblies should be liftable by one adult.

Materials and finishes

Frames are welded mild steel section, powder coated in a finish that can be matched to school colours. Work surfaces are laminate over an engineered wood core with edge banding all round. Seat and back panels are specified according to age group and use. Storage units are built in metal or laminate carcasses depending on the room.

Powder coating is worth emphasising here: it takes the scrapes and knocks of a school corridor considerably better than paint, and it can be touched up rather than fully refinished.

Who this suits

Schools fitting out new blocks, replacing tired classroom batches, or standardising a campus that has accumulated mismatched furniture over years of piecemeal buying. We have manufactured and delivered modular classroom furniture for school projects in and around Bengaluru.

Customisation

Classroom dimensions vary, and so do teaching layouts. We build to measured room sizes rather than catalogue standards, and we will supply a sample desk for approval before a bulk run. On school orders we recommend this without exception — put the sample in a real classroom with real students for a week before committing to two hundred units.

Colours can be matched to the school’s palette. If different blocks or year groups need visual differentiation, colour-coding the frames is a simple and durable way to do it.
