Homeowners across Bengaluru — apartments and independent houses, furnished individually rather than as a single scheme.

What they needed

Customised residential furniture, made to each home. Residential work differs from commercial in one fundamental way: there is no standard user. A kitchen has to suit how that family actually cooks, and a wardrobe has to suit what those people actually own. Applying a template to either produces furniture that technically fits and never quite works.

Every item was made to a measured room. Bengaluru apartments are rarely square and rarely the dimension the builder’s drawing claims, so we measure on site before anything is cut — the alternative is discovering a 30 mm discrepancy on installation day, with a finished unit that cannot be adjusted.

The notable part

Living in the house while it is being furnished. Most residential clients are not working from an empty shell — they are living around the work, or waiting to move in against a fixed date.

Manufacturing in our workshop rather than building on site is what makes that tolerable. Units arrive finished and are assembled in place, which means a fraction of the dust, noise and duration of site carpentry. It also means the finish quality is controlled in a workshop rather than achieved in a bedroom with a hand tool.

The customised residential furniture was delivered to each client’s requirements, with layouts, finishes and internal configurations set per home.
