FFAF Cargo.

What they needed

Modular office furniture for their working office. Logistics businesses run their administration at pace — documentation, coordination and constant movement between desks and phones — so the furniture had to support fast, practical working rather than a showroom aesthetic.

The requirement covered the working floor, storage and the meeting room, with the finished space expected to reflect the company’s professional identity to visiting clients.

Workstations were specified for comfort through a full working day, with storage planned around the volume of paperwork a cargo operation generates. Modular storage units were distributed across the floor rather than concentrated in one bank, so filing sits close to the people who use it. The conference room was kept deliberately clean and uncluttered — it is the room clients see.

The notable part

We handled design, manufacture and installation ourselves. Doing all three under one roof removes the coordination gap that usually causes delay on a fit-out: there is no waiting on a supplier’s delivery before a fitter can start, and no dispute over whose measurement was wrong if something does not fit.

The furniture was delivered on time and the client was satisfied with the service through the project.
